Sasagamine is located deep in the Myoko mountain range and is a part of Myoko Togakushi Renzan National Park. Daidohara flower fields come into bloom at the beginning of May each year. The fields are canola (rapeseed) flowers.
During spring Sasagamine is famous for its huge skunk cabbage areas deep in the forest. The area is easily accessible by foot.
The cherry blossoms at Matsugamine provide an amazing photo opportunity. The trees line the road leading up to and past the country club.
During the green season you can enjoy the amazing flowers and scenery at Tangram. There are beautiful lavender fields you can walk around. There are also a variety of activities.
