Ikenotaira Cross Country Course

Cross Country Skiing

The All Japan Ski Federation Official Akakura Kanko Resort Cross Country Course is open from December to the end of March. It is open every day apart from New Years holiday and during competition time. The course is managed by Akakura Kanko Resort but the entrance to the course is in Ikenotaira Onsen At the Ikenotaira Onsen sports plaza. If you catch the bus to Landmark Onsen Cafe you can walk to the course easily.

Cross country skis can be rented from the main tourist office by the train station. the cost is 3,000yen for a full day and 1,500yen for a half day. Please email us at [email protected] in advance so we can prepare your skis.
