Myoko E-Bike Rentals

Explore Myoko with ease using the 2026 electric-assist bike share service. Running from April to November, this convenient system allows you to pick up and return bikes across multiple locations using a simple smartphone app. Whether you’re sightseeing or just enjoying the fresh mountain air, it’s one of the best ways to experience Myoko at your own pace. Helmets are free of charge. Visit sightseeing spots such as Imori Pond, Naena Falls, or even go further and visit Sasagamine and Lake Nojiri while breathing in the refreshing highland air.

Usage period: From late April to the end of November (depending on snow conditions)

Stations are installed at several key locations in Myoko, including:

  • Myoko Base Camp
  • Myoko Kogen Tourist Information Center
  • Myoko Kogen Sky Cable Station
  • Akakura Information Center
  • Kubikino Information Center
  • Hotel SOBOKU (new location)
  • Furusatto (near Joetsu-Myoko Station)

Bike Rental Pricing

The service is designed to be flexible for both short and long use:

  • Up to 30 minutes: ¥200
  • Additional time: +¥200 per 15 minutes
  • Maximum (12 hours): ¥2,500

Operating Hours

Bikes are available daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

How it Works

This service uses the HELLO CYCLING app system.

With a smartphone, you can complete the entire process from reservation to unlocking the bike and payment all within the app.

Simply download the app, register once, select a station on the map, unlock your bike on-site, and start riding.
