During the green season you can enjoy the amazing flowers and scenery at Tangram. There are beautiful lavender fields which you can walk around. There are also a variety of activities. You can enjoy golf, the small swimming pool, tennis and the bob-sled. There are some great activities for all the family. There is also an all you can eat buffet which is open during the lunch hours.
Tangram Viewing Platform
One of the highlights at Tangram is the viewing platform near the top of the mountain. You take a cable car ride up near the top and there are two special viewing platforms that offer the best views of the Myoko area you will ever see. You can see Lake Nojiri, Mt Kurohime, Mt Myoko and even all the way to Joetsu city on a clear day. This is a great spot to see the whole area and take some truly memorable photographs.
The first platform is very close to the lift and takes no effort to reach. If you fancy going higher you can follow the path to the second platform. You can even continue to follow the path to the top of the mountain.
