Tsubame Onsen “Kawara no Yu (open-air bath)” has been closed since the bridge collapsed due to heavy snowfall in 2021, but it is finally scheduled to open on Sunday, September 1st.
In place of the collapsed bridge, a temporary bridge has been built as shown in the image, but please be careful of your footing when passing through as the stairs are steep and the steps are slippery on rainy days.
*Please refrain from using the bath if bad weather such as a typhoon is expected.
Usage period: September 1st to early November 2024 (planned), from sunrise to sunset (free)
*Unavailable in the morning on Mondays and Fridays due to cleaning
*The usage period may change depending on the snowfall
