Take a snow cat tour to some of the best hidden powder slopes in the area. You will get to experience untouched deep powder that nobody else has access to. Hikarigahara Cat Tours experienced guides will help you enjoy the best of the backcountry safely. Depending on weather and other conditions you should expect to be able to get in five to seven runs during one tour.
These untracked slopes are about 2,000m with good gradients that make them great for skiing and boarding. Our guides will find the best slopes to suit you, so you have a great experience in the backcountry.
IMPORTANT NOTE
There is no shuttle to Hikarigahara. You will need to arrange your own transport to the base at Kamisekida. See map.
Conditions of Participation
- Bring your own transceiver. (If you need to rent from us, rental transceiver will be 3,000yen at the tour base.)
- During the tour day, you must obey the instructions of the guide.
- The schedule may change depending on the conditions and the weather.
