For Visitors Climbing Mt. Hiuchi and Mt. Myoko

The trails leading to Mt. Hiuchi and Mt. Myoko pass through high alpine terrain where conditions can change quickly. Snow often remains until mid-June, and in some areas the trail may be difficult to identify.

Proper equipment, including suitable footwear, warm clothing, and navigation tools such as maps or GPS, is essential. Visitors should plan their route carefully and allow sufficient time, taking into account weather conditions and daylight hours.

These mountains require a reasonable level of hiking experience, and caution is advised, particularly during the early season when snow coverage is still present.

Toilet Facilities

Toilet facilities are available at the hut; however, they are basic and designed for mountain use. Visitors are asked to use them carefully and responsibly.
As the hut is located in a sensitive natural environment, proper usage and consideration for other guests are essential.

Reception and Check-in at the Hut

Guests are required to check in upon arrival at the hut by 3PM. Please follow staff instructions and complete the necessary procedures at reception.
*If you plan to hike Mt. Hiuchi on the day of your stay, please make sure to check in at the hut before setting out.

Depending on the time of arrival and weather conditions, staff may not always be immediately available, so visitors are asked to be patient and cooperative. Advance reservations are required.
